Orthoptist Jobs
An Orthoptist is a specialized medical professional in the optometry industry, who is primarily responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with vision problems, particularly focusing on conditions that affect how the eyes move and work together, such as strabismus (crossed eyes) and amblyopia (lazy eye). They conduct various eye tests, prescribe therapeutic exercises, and work closely with ophthalmologists to suggest treatment plans for patients with disorders of the visual system.
