Our mission is to improve and maintain the health and well-being of the whole person by providing access to high quality healthcare and community services.

Since 1975, Mountain Health, a private, non-profit community health center organization, has provided high quality, comprehensive compassionate primary health care to the people in our communities regardless of their ability to pay. We serve these communities and adjoining regions with respect, dignity and cultural sensitivity as a medical home and safety net for essential health care, community and social services.
Mountain Health maintains comprehensive primary care clinics in Campo, Alpine, Escondido, and San Diego.

Services offered by Mountain Health include: primary care, behavioral development assessments, asthma and allergy care, immunizations, nutrition counseling, senior health care, women’s health, family planning services, behavioral health care, labs, x-ray services, prenatal care, physicals (sports, DMV, school, well women, child’s physical), diabetic management, and referrals for specialty care.

Also, Mountain Health operates the Mountain Health Community Center in Campo, CA. Services include but are not limited to the community center are; CalWIN applications for food stamps, MediCal, CMS/LIHP interviews, senior transport, emergency food boxes, Fresh Rescue, assistance with Feeding America, homebound senior food delivery/site-delivery to Dulzura, Descanso, Potrero, Alpine, and Pine Valley; and on site senior lunches.
