May 2019 Optometry Industry Report [INFOGRAPHIC]

iHireOptometry added just over 5,000 new optometry jobs in May, similar to the number of new jobs added in April. The most in-demand positions continue to be optometrists, opticians, and optical assistants/optical office staff, and The Luxottica Group remains the #1 hiring company with 782 job openings at the moment.

The top metropolitan areas for optometry job seekers continue to be New York, Chicago, Houston, Dallas, and Atlanta. However, according to iHireOptometry’s optometry industry data, the top locations for hiring are New York, the greater Washington, DC area, Boston, Chicago, and Dallas.
