We are a 3 doctor/owner private group practice in Galax, Virginia (Southwest Virginia) and we are looking to hire an OD associate!

Our practice has provided personalized eyecare to our community for over 30 years and we see patients of all ages. We are a highly medically-oriented, technologically progressive practice that serves a more rural population. 70% of our patient base has multiple medical diagnoses and the other 30% are routine comprehensive exams.

Galax is a small bustling town near the North Carolina border nestled in the Blue Ridge mountains that is rich in art, music, and outdoor activities. It is a short and equal drive to Roanoke, VA and Charlotte, NC - both of which have airports. Many other nearby cities like Winston Salem, Mt. Airy, and Blacksburg offer expanded shopping and eateries! We are also surrounded by amazing outdoor experiences-Grayson Highlands is in our backyard, we are also nearby the Triple Crown of the Appalachian Trail, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and many others!

Schedule:
2 exams per hour and one problem/testing slot per hour.

Virginia is historically a progressive optometry state-Lasers were recently approved!

Schedule will be 4 days a week with 1 week a month on call. Our office is open 8-6; last patient scheduled at 5.
NO SCHEDULED WEEKENDS!
