Eyes On Butterfield is searching for a skilled and enthusiastic Optician/Ophthalmic Tech to join our new team and office—both part and full time opportunities available. We are located in beautiful Oakbrook, Illinois. You’ll deliver extraordinary customer service to leave our patients excited and confident about our glasses and exam services.

What you'll do:
Retail Responsibilities:
• Work directly with customers to help meet all of their eyewear needs
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear
• Use your expertise to explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers
• In Office Lab Finishes- experience cutting/edging lenses preferred
• Filing Insurance Claims

Ophthalmic Technician Responsibilities:
• Optos- Fundus Photography, Humphrey Visual Field Exams, Pre-Testing for Exams, Refractions/IOP checks if needed.
• Contact Lens trainings including speciality lens trainings- Scleral/Hybrid/Keratoconic fits

Who you are:
• A licensed dispensing optician/ABO certified preferred
• Passionate about the eyewear and retail industries

• Extremely detail-oriented and capable of juggling a wide range of responsibilities
