Drs Akre and Clark is a 3rd generation Independent Optometry Practice. Established in 1950 we have become the gate keepers to eyecare in New Ulm and Brown County. Currently we have two location and 4 doctors with the hopes to expand to 6 doctors and 3 location soon.

We are a committed health care team providing our patient with unsurpassed eye care by providing personalized care and meaningful education in order to improve our patients quality of life. We pledge the highest ethical standards and continued education to remain at the technological forefront of our profession.

Our team of 27 all demonstrate Positive, Service Orientated, Prideful and Reliable work striving to both profession and personal growth. We practice open book management are require all staff to undergo certification in specific job related fields. Certifications includes CPO, CPOA, Marco Certified Refraction, NCLE, and ABO. We operate out of 8 exam lanes and 13,000 square feet independent building with plans to expand to new location and 12 exam lanes by 2025.
