Exciting Optometric Position - Westchester County Dr. Eric Rubinfeld is seeking a full time optometric associate to join him in his state of the art private practice located in Westchester County (Yonkers). His practices are medically focused, private optometric offices providing full scope eyecare. The Yonkers practice is over 30 years old and is rapidly growing. It was recently renovated and enlarged from 800 square feet to 3600 sq feet. The office has the newest technology available: 3 digital examination rooms, all with exterior cameras and digital phoropters. Our pretest rooms have Optovue OCT, Centervue Eidon wide field digital camera, Tomey Endothelial microscope, Tomey Topographer, Huvitz Wavefront Aberrometer, Reichart NCT, B scan. We have 4 dry eye treatment rooms (one of which is equipped with an IPL) and one visual field testing room. Our office is not product driven (eyeglasses and contact lenses) but focused on medical care. The successful candidate will not be limited to focus on areas that interest them. If your interest is on myopia control, scleral lenses, dry eye disease, glaucoma, pediatrics, you will have the freedom to explore your interests. Dr. Rubinfeld is a SUNY graduate (1987) and a graduate of the University of Hong Kong Business School (MBA 2011). The successful candidate will not only learn a successful optometric practice model but also learn best business practices which would prove to be an invaluable, post OD education.
