Medical Office - join our family

We are a one-location, one doctor, Ophthalmology office looking for someone who can fill our need for Part time Ophthalmic technician duties.  Our office is family focused and our employees and patients interact on a warm and personal basis.  Experience as an Ophthalmic Tech is helpful, but not required as we will train.

The position is currently approximately 16 hours/week on Tuesdays and Thursdays, plus 1 Saturday a month.

Some flexibility is needed for cross coverage and schedule changes that come up.

Your duties will include:

·         Obtain pertinent patient history, check vision, measure glass prescriptions, perform visual field and imaging testing, patient charting on our EHR

·         There are 2 ophthalmic technicians working at a time, so you will be coordinating care with the other team member

·         We prefer someone who lives in close proximity to the office in case of inclement weather.

Wages are paid bi-monthly based on the number of hours worked.
