June 2018 Optometry Industry Report [INFOGRAPHIC]

iHireOptometry added 7,591 new jobs throughout the month of June (a decrease of approximately 1,400 jobs over May’s numbers). We’ve also included a look at changes in the amount of new jobs added to iHireOptometry from month to month, which shows steady growth from March through May of 2018.

On the job seeker side, opticians accounted for the most candidates per job title followed very closely by optical assistant/office staff. Further down the list were optometrist, optometric technician, and ophthalmic technician. There was a slight uptick in unique visitors for the month at 20,916.
