iHire Named Best Place to Work in Frederick County, MD

Frederick, MD (July 2016) – On July 28^th, iHire was named one of the best places to work in Frederick County at the 2016 Frederick County Best Places to Work Awards ceremony held at the Delaplaine Visual Education Arts Center.

The Best Places to Work campaign is a county-wide initiative to increase quality of life opportunities for Frederick County employees. The 2016 awards program is a partnership between Frederick County Workforce Services, City of Frederick Department of Economic Development, Frederick County Office of Economic Development, and the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce.

Nearly 100 nominations were submitted, and nine companies were honored based on a variety of criteria including turnover rate, median annual salary, benefits, flexibility and work-life balance, professional development opportunities, community involvement, green/sustainable practices, engagement and feedback mechanisms, and diversity and inclusion efforts.
